What this screen asks for, and what it will not say

Work email

The address of the account whose password is to be reset. The answer is the same whether or not an account uses it, so this screen never says whether an address is registered.

Workspace

The lowercase, hyphenated name of the organisation the account belongs to, as its invitation named it. A reset is asked for inside one workspace.

New password

The password the account signs in with from now on: at least twelve characters, typed twice. Choosing it signs the account out of every session it had.

This reset link cannot be used.

A link that was used already, whose hour has passed, or that a newer link replaced. The password is unchanged, and a new link can be asked for on this screen.

What this screen will not tell you

• A form to ask for a reset link where this deployment has no outbound email transport. A link handed to a transport that discards it never reaches anyone, so a form promising one would be a control that performs nothing. The screen says why instead of drawing it.
